Row 23 - (Dec, 3 sc) 6 times (24)
Row 24 - (Dec, 2 sc) 6 times (18)
Cut yarn and use the tail to sew the opening shut. Weave in ends.
Ruffles - Attach yarn to any front loop st in the 21st row, ch 1 and sc in the same st. *(Sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next st, sk 2 sts, sc in next st) 6 times, sk 2 sts, 5 dc in next st. Cut yarn and sew to the first sc to connect. Weave in ends.
Cut out the eyes using felt and either sew on before stuffing, glue on with Liquid Stitch, or do what I did and use a felting needle to attach to the body.
Then he's done! Enjoy :)

Free Pacman pattern!

Wow!! It's been far too long since I was on here. I've been really busy. It's amazing how having another baby makes you feel like you have 10 kids instead of just 2.
So, Sam's friend loves Pacman and is having a birthday soon. I couldn't find any Pacman patterns that I really liked so I decided to make one of my own. And now you can have it for free!
I might try to make some ghosts, and if so, I will post those as well.
Here he is:
Pacman
H hook
Worsted weight yarn in black and yellow
Polyfil
12 mm safety eyes (2)
Tapestry needle

Head-
Row 1 - Using yellow yarn, 6 sc in magic ring (6)
Row 2 - 6 inc (12)
Row 3 - (Inc, sc) 6 times (18)
Row 4 - (Inc, 2 sc) 6 times (24)
Row 5 - (Inc, 3 sc) 6 times (30)
Row 6 - (Inc, 4 sc) 6 times (36)
Row 7 - (Inc, 5 sc) 6 times (42)
Row 8 - (Inc, 6 sc) 6 times (48)
Row 9 - (Inc, 7 sc) 6 times (54)
Rows 10 - 15 - 54 sc (54)
Row 16 - Ch 26, skip the next 26 sts, sl st into the 27th st. Cut yarn. Attach the yarn into the 1st ch you made and sc into each of the 26 chs. Then sc into the remaining 28 sc. This is the opening of the mouth (54)
Rows 17 - 21 - 54 sc (54)
Row 22 - (Dec, 7 sc) 6 times (48)
Row 23 - (Dec, 6 sc) 6 times (42)
Row 24 - (Dec, 5 sc) 6 times (36)
Row 25 - (Dec, 4 sc) 6 times (30)
Row 26 - (Dec, 3 sc) 6 times (24)
Row 27 - (Dec, 2 sc) 6 times (18)
Row 28 - (Dec, sc) 6 times (12)
Row 29 - 6 dec (6)
Cut yarn and use the tail to sew the remaining sts together. Pull tight to close. Weave in ends.

Mouth - (make 2)
Row 1 - Using black yarn, ch 4, sc in the 2nd ch from hook, 2 sc (3)
Row 2 - Ch 1, turn. Inc, sc, inc (5)
Row 3 - Ch 1, turn. Inc, 3 sc, inc (7)
Row 4 - Ch 1, turn. Inc, 5 sc, inc (9)
Row 5 - Ch 1, turn. Inc, 7 sc, inc (11)
Row 6 - Ch 1, turn. Inc, 9 sc, inc (13)
Rows 7 - 12 - 13 sc (13)
You can add or subtract the amount of rows to fit your mouth, but that was all I needed.
I added a row of sc around the outside of the mouth, just to make it rounder and gave it more width. Cut yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly -
Put safety eyes on about 5 rows above the mouth and just to the insides of the mouth (see photo for reference).
You can sew the mouth on however you like, but I sewed both sides to the head, stuffed Pacman, and then sewed the two pieces together in the middle.

That's all there is to it! Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. I'm here to help :)

One is the classic style and the other two are slightly smaller (one is a Pretty Crimp 'n Curl). Anyway, the diapers that came with them are over 30 years old, therefore fell apart, so I decided to crochet them some new diapers.
